President
An incoming senior at Little Flower Academy, Kelly Woo is honoured to serve as the President of the Vancouver Point Grey Leo Club. She is passionate about creating positive and meaningful impact through leadership and community service. Kelly is actively involved in several school and community organizations, including RCRG, the Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra, Little Flower Academy’s Liturgy Band, and Environmental Club. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong commitment to service, collaboration, and community engagement. Outside of volunteering, Kelly enjoys playing guitar, singing with friends, and playing video games. As an executive member, she looks forward to fostering an environment where members can inspire, support, and learn from one another. She is excited for a year filled with thoughtful initiatives and hopes to empower fellow Leos to connect with and give back to the community.
Vice President
Stephy Tong is an incoming senior at Richmond Christian School. She has been a competitive figure skater for over 10 years, which has taught her resilience and the value of hard work. Outside of skating, she enjoys reading, watching shows and movies, going outside, and spending time with friends and family. She is always eager to challenge herself and step out of her comfort zone, and she sees this club as a great opportunity to show that. She is excited to be part of the club’s executive board, serving as Vice President, and is looking forward to learning, growing, and making a positive impact while contributing her knowledge and skills to this team
Secretary
Bethlyn Chiang is a sophomore student at Southpointe Academy with a strong passion for volunteering and giving back to her local community. As an avid pianist and skilled Rubik’s Cube solver, she has developed creativity, discipline, patience, and strong problem-solving abilities that she brings to the Leo’s Club. Through her involvement in school and community activities, Bethlyn enjoys collaborating with others, helping organize initiatives, and contributing to meaningful service projects that create a positive impact. As she enters her Grade 11 year, Bethlyn is excited to take on the role of Secretary to further contribute to the club through communication, organization, and leadership. She looks forward to helping strengthen connections within the club, supporting community outreach efforts, and encouraging fellow members to participate in service opportunities that make a difference.
Treasurer
Samantha Lam is an incoming Grade 12 student at Steveston-London Secondary School with a strong passion for physics, art, and architecture. Outside of academics, she enjoys creative design and literature and is always eager to explore new ideas and perspectives. Beyond the classroom, Samantha is deeply committed to giving back to the community, believing that even small actions can create meaningful change. She is excited to contribute her time and effort to making a positive impact as Treasurer of the club, and looks forward to collaborating with others to help foster a supportive and inclusive environment for everyone
Membership Chairperson
Grant Chen is a Grade 11 student at Richmond High School and is excited to serve as the Membership Chairperson for the Vancouver Point Grey Leo Club. He is passionate about leadership, helping, and growing as a community. Having been involved in the club for several years, Grant has participated in events supporting children and the elderly. Outside of volunteering, Grant enjoys competitive swimming, hiking, and running along dikes. Through this role, he hopes to help create a welcoming environment where members can connect and make a positive impact in the community.
Marketing Board Director
Kaylee Ching is currently a Grade 10 student at Notre Dame Regional Secondary, who is actively involved in both academic and extracurricular activities. Her experiences in school clubs, along with participation in figure skating, have helped develop responsibility, perseverance, and discipline. As the upcoming Marketing Board Director for the club, she is excited to collaborate and work with others. Kaylee hopes to bring about a supportive environment this year and foster new friendships.
Outreach Board Director
A Grade 7 student from Richmond Christian School, Ayden Tong, is grateful for the opportunity to serve for the Vancouver Point Grey Leo Club. Ayden started volunteering at the age of 10 and has always been passionate about helping others and giving back to the community. With dedication to helping the community and serving others, Ayden has applied his knowledge of social awareness and integrity to the community of his school. This is shown in his accomplishments and participation in activities such as the ICC Fundraiser and the calling days, where we would go out and help the community. Ayden was recently appointed as the Board Director of Outreach. Through his involvement and leadership, he hopes to continue achieving his goal of helping others and creating a positive impact in the community around us.
Outreach Broad Director
Avva Nguyen is an upcoming Year 10 student from St. John’s School. She competes in competitive golf tournaments while also founding her own non-profit organization, Swing Without Limits. She is thrilled to push her limits and create purposeful contributions towards the community. In her free time, you would often find her playing the piano, snacking, or blasting music through her AirPods. Avva can not wait to collaborate with others, creating a positive impact at Vancouver Point Grey Leo Club!
Event Board Director
Max is an incoming Grade 9 student at Vancouver College. Max has a passion to help others and to serve his community. He has been volunteering at various summer camps as an assistant. Since Max started his high school journey, he has taken on more volunteering opportunities, such as the Richmond Christmas Fund and Backpack Buddies, to further support the community. Max is honoured and delighted to join the Vancouver Point Grey Leo Club Executive Board as an Event Board Director. This is an incredible opportunity for him to work alongside other board members who share the same vision, and Max is looking forward to building his leadership skills. In his spare time, Max enjoys reading, playing video games, running, and playing guitar.

Marcus is an upcoming Grade 8 student at St. John’s School with an affection towards Pokémon cards, Table Tennis, and Scooters. He is a proud member of the Class Representatives, where he works with Stu-co at his school and grows as a class leader. Outside of school, he is in the VGH+UBC volunteers, table tennis tournaments, and a chef at home. He wants to succeed in collecting great collectibles, table tennis championships, and fostering help in the community. He is excited to be a part of the Executive Board team, serving as an Event Board Director.
Social Media Board Director
Tia Lightfoot is an incoming Grade 10 student at Steveston-London Secondary School. A dedicated multi-sport athlete, she competes in club basketball, club volleyball, and dragon boating. Beyond the court and water, Tia has shared her passion for figure skating as a program assistant for the past three years, coaching young skaters at her local club. Academically, she is driven by an interest in chemistry and biology, with aspirations to pursue a career in forensic science. A firm believer in the power of volunteerism, Tia is excited to give back to her community as a member of the Executive Board, serving as the board director of social media.
